I just remembered that modern motherboards keep +5V over the USB ports, which is separate from the rest of the system (and which has a high enough amperage to charge cellphones for instance). As for the 12V, I guess if there's nowhere to tap that from, I have no other alternative than to build...

I'm not actually modding a case or anything, but I have a question and if anyone can answer it, I'm sure it's a case modder. :) I need to build two network devices and a piece of electronics inside a (working) PC's case. The network devices take 12V/0.5A and 12V/1A, the electronics 5V/0.1A...
