Purchased it last night and have to say it looks amazing and the controls work quite well for all being on a touchscreen. Really hope they update the app with more characters because the first time I played it, on normal, I beat it. It was still fun!!
You should stay away now from the PowerPC models as there is no longer any upgrade life to them (Snow Leopard is only on Intel processors). If you want to play any HD media on them it'll choke them so do as suggested and look for an Intel MacBook.
I saw that too yesterday. It'll be interesting to see since we've been use to playing Street Fighters with either a joystick or a d-pad and not have to look at our fingers. Also I've seen that there will only be 4 buttons instead of 6.

One way I know is to go back to her computer and open the file and load it into her calendar program, then sync the information to the iPhone. I know a sucky solution but it gets the calendar request into the phone.
I had the same issue about not receiving calls when I had 3.1. I just upgraded to 3.1.2 a few days ago so I'll have to see if it improved and check back in.
