    but.. i formatted my computer.. figured it out.. my l2 cache is really small (like 128k or some shit). so im getting this now, my fps should increase like 2 fold: ASUS "A7N8X" nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU -RETAIL(New Version, now support AMD Barton 400MHz)...

    did this. fps remains the same. anybody else have ideas? btw.. there is no way to turn 2x aa or af off.. its either 2x as the lowest or application preference.

    lol no i know the difference between anistropic filtering and anti aliasing (sp on both) but i didnt know if there was some sort of new aa or something ive never heard it called fsaa before :confused: anyways sorry about your name. just think of it this way.. rich people call each other...

    oh yea? whats the difference between regular aa and fsaa? i never experienced any major performance issues when i had my 4600 and had 2x or even 6x aa on i dunno there probably isnt a difference but its worth a try turning it off i guess..

    well my only option is to raise it to 256, there is no 128 selection.. and i guess if i dont get a performance gain in a couple days im going to have to buy a new cpu/mobo.. yea fsaa is set to 2x.. i cant remove these omegadrivers for some reason so i have some sort of morph of cat 4.8 drivers...
