    Am I being Tracked?

No new addons are detected or extensions. I assume Native Client came with the original Chrome install. Yes, there is a sub-menu on the page and a contact support link is in the menu. What you said all makes sense to me ; but how the flag could be set if cookies are disabled...

    Am I being Tracked?

Not the autofill feature since it was the first time I visited that page and I had never filled the contact form before. And yet, the form was auto filled with my email address and name. I also checked the page source and I'm pretty sure the page is generated by server scripting and it's...

    Am I being Tracked?

I bought an application from a software company's website. I gave out my name and email address during the process. The activation code was sent to me by email. The product is very legit. I downloaded the portable version (so I didn't have to install it) and put it on my external drive, then I...

Washing machine interfering with my computer?

Great point! I do have a mic plugged in! Okay, I will try a few tests by changing only one variable at a time: 1. First, unplug or disable the mic 2. Remove the UPS and plug the computer into a power strip with only surge protection 3. As BlindedbyScience suggested, I will run a long cord to...

    Windows 7 Taskbar

Thanks for trying again. I disabled all notification area icons, so my case doesn't seem to be icon related. It's obvious enough just trying with one folder. Open just one folder then close it ... try a few times, you may see the taskbar's behavior is totally random - sometimes it pops...

Washing machine interfering with my computer?

HA! I'm actually using 2 surge protectors with the computer: the main power is plugged into this and the external hard drive is plugged into exactly one of those ISOBARs you linked. ;) I think as Jojo mentioned, the noise is probably not in the circuit, it's RF.

Washing machine interfering with my computer?

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks, JoJo! So basically, moving the computer far enough from the washer should eliminate the sound completely? I guess. Strangely, the machine is running right now but I can't hear a thing. But It's worse sometimes than others.

    Windows 7 Taskbar

hey firas, thanks for trying this for me! i get a completely different result each time I do this. I think whether it will pop up or not is completely random. Could you just try to open a folder then close it without going to start menu? Also, try open your browser and close it right away see...

Washing machine interfering with my computer?

Ahh ... what's a relay arc? and how the heck the washing machine has a spark gap generator? If it's true. the RF generated could do anything to the computer? Thanks!

    Windows 7 Taskbar Quirk

I'm wondering if anyone can do a quick checkup on their system if you have Win7 64 bit as OS. Here is the situation: I set to hide the taskbar. Everything is fine except for that I have noticed when I close a folder or an application, the taskbar pops up once in a while. It doesn't happen...

Washing machine interfering with my computer?

My bedroom is next to the laundry room in my house and when the machine is running, I can hear some clicking sound from time to time from my speakers hooked up to the computer in my bedroom. I have tried plugging the washing machine into another wall outlet as well as plugging my computer to...
