Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
All this talk about balancing the flow in a parallel system has got me wondering simpler parallel systems. For example, in a system where you use a Y connector to split the flow and send one path to the CPU and the other path to the GPU and chipset, do people worry about balancing to flow in...
If I have to chose from the options your giving I would agree with Mark's choices - 3 or 1.
IMO, in a 2 pump system, it doesn't make sense to have 2 pumps placed one after another in the loop like in config 4 & 5. My instinct would be to split up the pumps like in config 3. My reasoning is...
I have a CM Stacker as well and I'm just planning to enlarge the hole in the bottom and mount a 2x120mm rad there. I was planning to push the air out the bottom of the case rather than sucking it in. I figured it would be okay as long as I make sure I have lots of cool air coming into the case.
Being new to water cooling, I'm curious what the current thinking is on water cooling power supplies? Looking around the online shops I've seen the odd WC'd PSU but they don't seem like a popular item...just wondering why?
Thanks, I just placed my order for the following items:
2 x DangerDen TDX
1 x Low Profile Acetal Version MAZE4GPU
1 x Danger Den D5
1 x Black Ice Pro II Radiator
8ft Tygon tubing 3/8" ID
I went with the D5 pump because I read in this forum that it is relatively quiet to begin with and...
I am trying to avoid noise so the BIP series sounds like a better choice. I was actually wondering whether it would be quieter running a BIP2 with 2 fans or a BIP3 with 3 fans running at lower RPM. Sounds like I can just route everything in series. I'm glad - makes everything simpler, but, if...
Hello All,
I have built many PCs but I have no experience with watercooling. I recently assembled a new workstation for graphics and video editting. Here is a summary of some of the components in the workstation.
2 x Xeon 3.0 GHz
1 x XFX GeForce 7800 GTX video card
5 x Maxtor 300GB...
