Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I had a stuck pixel with 2 planar and 2 NEC 26" LCD monitors, I was trying to repair it but didn't have any luck. I returned it to CDW. I don' think that is repairable either so don't waste your time anymore, just return it.
I tried to rub 2 26" Planar and 2 NEC 2690, even ran jscreenfix for hours, still no luck on the stuck/dead pixel issue. I returned all of them eventually.
Nice ! I returned my LCD to CDW due to a sub stuck pixel and I only had two options : either drop it at UPS Store/UPS hub or schedule a pick up with UPS. Anyway, I am really happy with the CDW return policy for LCD monitors.

I've banned UPS as well because they dropped my overnight priority item for so many times at the management office instead of deliver it directly to my apt.
If you concern or worry about the return policy, just place your order online with CDW. I've returned 2 Planar 26" and 3 NEC 2690 LCD monitors without any issues. They only question they asked - Why are you returning your LCD ?
Just like what EW27 mentioned, they paid all the shipping, they...
My 2690 has a little buzz too. I don't hear it when I sitting in front of the panel unless I put my ear on the display. The manufacturing date is 2008/05. Anyone else has the same issue with NEC 2490/2690 displays ? Is this a norm for NEC displays ?
