Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Previous to the 1516 update my PC would hard lock in less than 10 minutes if I had my RAM (G-Skill 6.4GHz CL32) clocked on anything but default (4.8 GHz). Since installing the 1516 BIOS I've run it for days at the full EXPO speed of 6.4GHz without a single hiccup. Finally feel like I'm starting...
I'm not exactly an electronics expert - it just looks bad to me. But if that's normal then no worries. I've tested it in two different PCs and have the same issue. Will be RMA-ing it this weekend.
Had exactly the same thing happen to my Gigabyte 1080 Ti about a week ago. Took a pic of the fuse:
I would say just from looking at it that it's fucked. Thankfully mine is still under warranty for a few more months so I'll be taking it back.
2.5 months after ordering my 5900 and I'm 47th in the queue waiting to get it. A month ago I was 84th.
I see AMD is in the news boasting about the billions they've made in the past few months. How about they use those billions to make some more fucking processors?
Something to note: MS has included TLS 1.3 experimental with this build. It's supposed to be inactive by default, but it's not. It completely screwed Outlook's connection to Gmail until I found this:
I think i found out the issue. According to...
Me too, and me too.
Worthy of note, this is just the Beta that's been pushed back. The actual final release might be out in time for Christmas 2119. At this point I think anyone spending money on this tech demo, that has been in alpha for six years and cost in excess of two hundred million...
I'm sceptical until I see actual independent benchmarks, but god I hope this is everything it looks to be. If so, I may go Red for the first time in a very long time.
Yeah you just keep telling yourself that, according to your timeline, a game released literally a decade late and hundreds of millions of dollars over budget is just fine.
Another excuse to whine about needing more money and, in turn, delaying the release again? Yes please!
They say no at the moment, but all I hear is yes yes yes.
Great review, thanks. Good to see Seasonic continuing its excellent performance.
"Editor's Note: Seasonic is the only PSU retailer in North America that supplies HardOCP's review samples out of actual retail stock. The PSU reviewed here was shipped to us by a retailer out of the same stock that...
This.
Here in Australia it's $AUD 1,899 for the cheapest 2080 Ti I can see, and that's for a brand I haven't heard of before that I probably wouldn't buy. The Asus card is still $2,299. The "cheap" card is already about $900 less than what they were when they first came out, but still at least...
Fantastic to see a free game demo in this day and age. They used to happen all the time... hopefully this is a return to form.
It actually means the company needs to be pretty confident in its own product. Downloading and will likely buy.
