It has hdmi, usb-c (thunderbolt), but the HDMI is 1.4a. The usb-c will be used for the dell TB16 thunderbolt dock that has VGA mDP HDMI DP Thunderbolt. Not sure if the hdmi on the dock can handle 4k 60Hz

how much room is there for cables with the top cover on? I'm considering this case, and will have 3 or 4 graphics cards connected to 8+ monitors. Can I fit 8 dvi cables with the top cover on routed to the back or is it better to go with a regular tower case?

I've searched for a mount for my 30" screen that can handle portrait mode. There are several mounts that can do this, but they are expensive (at least double the cost of ergo mx)
Can you rotate your 30" screen to portrait mode when you have that little block between the monitor arm and the desk? If yes, is there any space between the monitor and the desk? I think that the ergotron mx can't hold 30" portrait with the stand mounted directly on the desk, right?

Here is an ergotron mx with what I think is an Eizo 30" display. It seems sturdy. I was thinking about buying one for my HP LP3065, but as you can see you can't have a 30" display in portrait mode without tilting the display. It should be possible with a 27" but it wont have much clearance...
Yeah, it doesn't look like it can fit :S, but he clearly said that you can replace the 2 92mm fans for a 120mm. I will e-mail fractal-design and see if they have any comments.

innovative and humanscale seem to be the most popular choice and should work fine with a 30" and with more height adjustment...
