I picked up a 2005fpw on eBay and it's a really nice monitor. The only problem I have with it is that occasionally, whatever's on the screen gets frozen for half a second or so and then the screen blinks a bit. The computer pauses too, since it always just resumes whatever it was doing before...

Yeah, it's called a KVM switch. Make sure to get one of decent quality, since I think the cheaper ones do bad things to the VGA signal. Look for reviews. Anyways, assuming your computer isn't a laptop, why not just get a video card with DVI? Those should be a lot cheaper.
