I didn't explicate well on previous post. The green purple tint isn't normal for sure, but for this price monitor maybe is "normal" issue for this model. It' not so strong but for me who use it for photo editing is a little annoying. I wonder if I return it and get the same issue again. Also...
I just bought this monitor and I noticed a green tint at the left side of the monitor and pink at the right. Is this normal in these monitor or should I turn it back?
Well, I decided to remove the annoying antiglare filter but I destroyed my monitor :(
I succeed to remove the filter which is a grey transparent, but I think it's polarizer too, if so there's no possibility to remove only the antiglare filter. I'm not sure, please confirm this.
I must...
You 'are really unlucky my friend. But I'm glad you don't give up.
HP's service was really good and helpful with my situatiom so nice to hear that they will arrange an advanced replacement.
Hope this will be your last replacement :)
Yes, you should go for a replacement. For sure.
I had the same problem but also tint problems and very hot at the top. My new monitor is perfect although I didn't calibrated yet :)
Yes man you're right, I just want to share knowledge on the subject. Whether this slight difference in color is common and "acceptable" in this model. I don't know. That's why I ask.
Here a photo of the top left and bottom right of my screen. You can see the difference in the tint. What do you think guys, should I send my monitor back or it's not a big deal. I use the monitor for editing photos. I know that there's a common problem with tint issues but if I replace it I know...
The glow looks ok. I didn't photographed it for the side angle though. In a white background is like having a smudge on the lower part of the center and right. But I think it's not so big difference.

I see. The monitor is quite good for it's price-range but has several minor issues like the hot screen, the sligthy tint and brightness problem, poor black, backlight issues.
I just bought it but i have some issues.
The monitor is quite hot at the top of the screen. Is this normal? I never had this issie with other monitors.
Another is a slighty tint issue in the left side which is blue and more brigth. But not to much I think. And 1 dead (black pixel).
