Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Boy did I hit the lottery on my 7500. So far I've observed what appears to be a small piece of hair stuck between the lcd/glass, two dead pixels and two stuck pixels.:(
For anyone interested newegg has the 40ju7500 listed for 1200 on their website and ebay. This is obviously a price mistake as authorized dealers aren't allowed to sell below $1400 right now thanks to UMRP.
HDMI low is limited RGB 16-235 and normal is full RGB 0-255. Make sure you're not crushing detail by setting it to low and outputting full RGB in nvidia control panel.
Updated to 1207 and test image definitely looks much better with UHD on in game mode but it is still not 4:4:4 chroma. In normal desktop use I can barely tell a difference between the two modes with UHD on.
Has anyone measured the black level on their curved displays? I'm getting readings around twice as high as the rtings 6500 review.
Black 0.063 cd/m2
White 123.633 cd/m2
10 Backlight
90 Contrast
27 Brightness
HDMI black level low
