Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks, that's exactly what I was thinking. The downside of the case gets really hot when playing so SSD should be even safer up there. I am also thinking to to attach it with four adeshive velcro dots for keeping somekind of airflow around the ssd.
I would like to add a pwm fan on bottom of my Mini ITX case to blow fresh air on my GTX660 Twin Frozr, which runs too hot and noisy now in my crowded case.
Can I use a PWM splitter to attach both the extra fan and standard VGA fans to the VGA PWM header? Will this affect standard VGA fan...
Sorry quote corrected :)
If you are not overclocking your I5 and do not plan installing a gaming VGA that will heat up your entire system a AXP-140 fanless will probably be enough. Also AXP-100 with fan ramped all down will be as close to silent as the fanless route.
BTW I also tested...
I don't thing the AXP-100 fanless would be a good idea with your cpu, maybe a AXP-140 would be barely enough but will still need a high rpm 140mm case to blow enough air. I think two lower rpm fans (one for AXP-100 and one for the case) gives you more benfits and acoustic perfomance than fanless...
Now cons comes from the GTX660 under load. I don't think the case configuration is thought to handle well the heat generated from a mid/high? range gaming VGA. When I start playing for the first 5 minutes everything is pretty much silent then all fans slowely ramp up to max making a lot of...
I am using my setup since last week and I very happy, here's a few observation:
I swapped te AXP-100 fan with a Coolermaster XtraFlo Slim 120mm, it'a great PWM 15mm thick fan up to 1500 RPM. It moves move air and it is very quiet even under load, I really suggest it over the standard standard...
Same here, I woul love to pay extra for a quality, fully modular, SFX PSU with acoustic performance comparable to full size Enermax/Seasonic PSU, close to silent at idle and extremely quiet under load. When I read about the enew ST45SF Gold I thought they improved noise of the already quite...
Thanks, I understand.
Just your personal opinion, doyou suggest to have it replaced?
The issue is not really bothering (some PSU don't even have such back switch) so is it safe to keep itor the short could be danguerous and result in problems during prolonged use?
Thanks
Hi,
I just got a new Enrmax Triathlor FC 550W PSU, I installed it on my new pc and it was exactly what I was looking for, compact, modular and pretty much silent.
Just one problem: the on/off switch on the back of the PSU seems not to affect the system. I mean the pc turns on from the front...
What side do you mount th PSU for better cooling efficiency?
I mean, PSU fan faceing the motherboard or facing the external side? Also CPU heatsink (AXP-100) fan push or pull?
If facing togheter both PSU/CPU an are quite near and I am worry they can struggle a wrong airflow configuration. I...
I live in Europe there are many of them both in Germany and UK for example you can try price comparator www.idealo.de and you will find many shops carrying the PC-Q11.
I finally ordered most of my configruartion:
PC-Q11 Black
Asrock Z77E-ITX
I5-3470
Thermalright AXP-100
4GB Corsair Low profile
SSD Samsung 250 Gb
Any suggestion for a quiet GTX 660 Ti that fit the case?
Thanks I searched a lot, too bad no ones make new panels in such 25,5" mid size.
Well I just pull the trigger and went with the Asus 25" VE258Q http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004ZMH65Q
I only read good things in reviews and I found it second hand but mint for very good price.
I am upgrading from a...
