If it helps, they end up sending you an ARCTIC M2 Pro. Which is $5.50 on amazon for the black one, and $10 for the silver one. (in the US anyway) I ended up buying one to use for my NAS, and it works, but I really hate it.
I think I described what I meant incorrectly. I wasn't referring to the tubes going into the radiator, but the tubes coming out of the pump. I ended up buying a lianli hydroshift, just havn't installed it yet, as the vibration I was hearing...
I'm just sad that I won't be able to say "the only upgrade I could make is to a 5090" any longer.
But this thing will easily be $1,000.00 with prices the way they are.
The irony is that FG is simultaneously Nvidia's best consumer-friendly feature and their best marketing trick. It keeps older cards relevant longer (good for us), but it also lets them sell weaker cards at higher prices because "just turn on FG...
