Smaller fans have to spin faster to match the airflow from a larger slower fan. Theres no way around that.

I could probably get more airflow through that heatsink by farting into it rather than using 5 nanometer size fans.

I got a sapphire 7970 oc edition for 460$ and it overclocks like a champ. I only get stutter in the witcher 2 and skyrim but its easily fixed by limiting my fps to 60. I love this card.
