    Well I've heard of similar issues to this that actually resulted in being the video card. I am not exactly sure how or why it happens, but if you have a substitute card laying around give it a try and see if it solves the problem.

    Curious on upgrade options

    With a system like that, I believe you're better off just buying basically an entirely new rig. You're going to need a new mobo to upgrade the processor, and if you're upgrading that you will need new ram, and the graphics card is outdated.

    You know what, I'm using a Razer Arctosa, and it's impossible to write stuff like that on (Keys outside the usual). It's a terrible keyboard, black letters on black keys. That was a typo on 3570k, that I just forgot to change to 3470, which is what I actually have listed.
