Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
While its not acceptable or otherwise ok, it kills me that people are shocked and surprised by the level of access they have.
Seriously... this is like being surprised that Ford knows how to unlock your Prius.
I kinda saw this coming with the 400 series launch (hence my EVGA card), but am still shocked. I had hoped they would go red and green but out all together? This makes Chromatik sad :(
Amen. I had been planning on picking up a Corsair 800D and could get it a little cheaper at a B&M here. After this, I think I'll plan on ordering from Frozen CPU. Consider it my contribution to the legal defense fund.
Plus helping others in the name of justice is a better justification to blow...
Oh ok. Now they cop to this??? See my post here about this happening since 191.07.
Maybe now I will stop having to use the Nvidia tools just manually set my fan speed on start up
Dicks
Asus can afford it from all the money they save by not doing web server upgrades and not having customer service/ support. :p
Note that I am an Asus customer and have been for about 10 years now :D
Apparently Asus will be releasing additional models this year as well. Please add to 1st post list.
MG236 - 23 inch
PG246 - 23.6 inch
PG276 - 27 inch

Edit: More on the PG276H variant with...
Yeah... I'll wait and make sure this release doesn't kill my 280's vram like the 191.07's did.
Nvidia can create CUDA from the ground up but can't figure out how to throttle a fan in the drivers.
Two different teams I guess ;)
Still waiting for my dream monitor, which is basically a CRT in an LCD form factor with perfect color I guess :D
Moving from an SGI FW9011 to a BenQ G2400WD has been, and still is a challenge. :(
Yeah... I was a spoiled bastard.
Agreed.
The Win update roll-outs happen eventually but due to extended pilots to ensure the environment won't break everyone ends up behind the curve. Its a double edged sword. Are you more paranoid about things breaking to roll-out updates, or are you more paranoid about security breaches...
