iI managed to force it through that circled small hole, just a bit of soap and pushed it through (it deformed the plastic casing around the head of the kettle leads slightly, but nothing much)
Probably, although the mini itx already has an intake fan in the bottom, and no psu in the way. So in that case it might be better to stick it underneath rather than above.
The CAD model came in at 400 grams exactly. However, the actual printing software estimated it at 670 grams of material...
Here are the pics :)
The Printer is an objet connex350 multi material printed, and the material used is a veroblack plus ABS like material. Alledgedly the plus version is more resistant to deformation under heat, so I'm kind of testing out this new material for my workshop, considerig that the...
These are some of the pictures of the part I'm going to print. Only problem is, it weighs about 400 gramss, at 0.22£ per gram, thats 88 pounds :(
The hoel on the right hand side of the radiator is only because I need to shed as much weight as possible. I was going to make the start/reset/usb...
Right, here are some pics. The bottom area is pretty much done, except that the two tubes going up to the radiator will be shifter more to the right and attached to quick disconnects when I've printed the top plastic bit

Impressive, I didn't even know two 120s would fit !
I don't really like having to fit the pump under the graphics card with the fan under the case (no dust filter), but thats a personnal choice :) Its awesome that people are starting to watercool this small case !! Awesome build. You're not...
Hi guys,
So i've had this case for about 9 months now, aircooled with dark rock pro, nearly silent, perfect as it was a server/mediacenter computer.
In any case, I've decided that I want to start doing some watercooling.
I saw this guys' build...
Ok, so I installed the cooler.
Pictures are below. Now I'm lucky, because on this motherboard the top pci expres port is a 1x pci port. As long as the backplate is not to big on the gpu I think it should also fit on a mobo with x16 on teh top port.
I'm happy as well coz my 92mm noctua fits ...
Fair point. Although the noctua is a whole 7 mm larger than the Dark rock pro :) (you gotta pay somewhere for these 14 cm fans ;))
At the moment I don't have a very good video card, just a basic HD 4850. You don't even want to know what the dark rock is going to be cooling .... suffice to say...
By the way, I added silicon pads on the removable cover for the non hot swap hard drives in my build, and that seems to have stopped low freq vibrations I was getting; I got 3 mm thickness for 2 samsung F4 (although this will vary with the thickness of your drives). I'm also thinking that the...
hey guys, first post here.
I've got a FT03 build, and I just ordered a Be quiet Dark Rock pro cpu cooler for it off ebay. I was just wondering: anyone else tried to put this cooler in the case ? I will most probably have to take cpu case bracket off though
