    Ubuntu Server 8.04 64 bit running VMware Server 2.0 beta. Runs great.

    USB drive contains embedded ESX server on it? That something I have not seen before, can you post more info about it? Can you post a list of files on the USB. Eugene

    I agree, Avocent has some sweet management solutions. Just got 17in LCD tray for the office to replace TFT5600. Any good LCD/Keyboard/Mouse trays you come across? Tried Belkin hated it.

    Those are KVM over IP dongles. We use HP's KVM IP switches at our data center, pretty cool stuff. Newer switches even have virtual media support. You are looking at enterprise level hardware for data center, somit will be expensive.

    Getting Rid Of Drives?

    I've used free version of KillDisk bootable image to erase some disks I had. I liked it. You can ether erase separate partitions or the whole disk. My drives were NTFS formatted though.

    VPNC Disconnect

    Command sudo vpnc-disconnect always works for me. The actual command 'vpnc-disconnect', not passing --disconnect parameter to vpnc. Make sure you running it as root (sudo).

    Looks good to me, except I'd get Vista Home Premium and Intel Wifi card. Unless you plan installing your own copy of XP or something.
