last update : throw my mainboard and processor to supermicro and just got update mainboard will need repair due vrm issue in near cpu 3 socket. So I need spare mainboard... thank you all for your help.

yes it capture when folding, this screen shot is my first 4p. my ambient temp 30-36 celcius, it need to turn AC on to reduce ambient temp to 24-26 celcius. just remove my second 4p from watercooling, will test it with air cooling so i can watch closely.

I buy my first 4p from musky, second 4p from core32. My second 4p have problem when i receive it, the cpu1 pin is bend on the mainboard, i got it fix in supermicro, then fold without problem about 28 days. Then problem coming, it just wont boot into os or ssd, then i swap first 4p procesor...

I agree with you @tear, powering up 4p without point using 860 watt psu is wasting electric bill. i will do memtest tonight. update: finish all memtest without problem but still cannot fold even for 1 minute. anyone can help me rma the mainboard?

spend 3 hour to swap my 4p, problem found to be memory related. swapping procesor, ssd and memory. system boot into ssd after using my other 4p memory. but now have another problem when it start folding (each cpu get stress 100%) my monitor will losing connection and keyboard & mouse is...

I just use the boot disk(DVD) to install my 2p without problem, boot -> install -> remove boot disk ->restart -> all done. unplug the ssd from 4p put into 2p boot without problem. i think maybe hardware problem. will try @m33pm33p method, will update tonight.

My 4p system cannot boot into anything just show blinking cursor in left top screen. Mainboard h8qgi-f with four 6180se and 16 memory stick. Boot into ubuntu 12.04 show the ubuntu booting screen then after 5 second it show only blinking cursor. Boot into ssd that already have ubuntu os...

Can anyone tell me the maximum core/thread that ubuntu can handle?
