Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm trying to figure out if I can go to the new(er) video cards out on the market and most seem to be PCIe x16 2.0 these days. I can't find any information that says that my motherboard XFX MG-630i-7159 will support the new 2.0 standard.
Any advice/guidance is appreciated!
Anyone else running Vista using a 630i-based NVidia Mobo with a 7-series GPU and HDMI?
I'm having issues where the image quality via HDMI is just crap. I've tried reinstalling the video drivers. No luck. It hurts my eyes. Everything is out of focus. It's like when you hook up a LCD to your PC...
Jesus and the Mary Chain the Retail box HSFfor the Q6600 is a piece of shite. I wish I had known and I would have ordered a replacement at the same time.
Try newer video card drivers ... I had the same thing happen with a Dell running XP and newer drivers fixed it. Also, 1920x1200 is optimal res so update drivers, go into the menu and do the optimize thing and all should be good.
I've read part of this thread but not every post so please forgive me if I'm repeating something ...
I just unpacked my L2410nm and the built-in GeForce 6150's 1920x1200 puts the desktop off-center. In 1900x1080 it fills the screen (but looks like ass) so I know the LCD is okay. I'm just...
Excellent point about Apple. They have had a monopoly over their operating system and hardware for years. No one has complained because you can go buy a PC instead. Both have features the other doesn't (please no BSOD jokes as a "feature of the PC") but because both allow personal computing...
I respectfully disagree with your assertions.
The FCC has publicly said that they are concerned about both licenses being owned by one company. I would assume that XM/Sirius would keep both for at least the short term. The FCC has options, that was my point.
As far as monopolies go, again...
This is not a monopoly. The barriers to market entry are artificial and not aggressive monopolistic action by the XM/Sirius entity.
The FCC only has two licenses for satellite radio. Obviously, if the FCC was worried about any kind of monopolistic activity by XM/Sirius they could simply issue...
Since PC3200 seems to be staying pretty flat at around $170-180 for brand name value DIMMs, should I be looking at perhaps faster DDR and letting it scale down?
Can I run 2x 3200 and 2x 3500? I don't think so but I thought I'd ask.
