    This information is wrong. They come with earphones with a built in mic, and the new ones I bought linked above also have a mic built in. All the new 3rd gen I looked at had built in mic's in the headset along with volume controls.

    I have the same machine. On battery power both fans kick on and off as needed. High performance setting seems to run them all the time.

    googled "Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.5 offer" and downloaded it, and they are still giving free keys to register it via email as of today at 7:30pm cst. It said the offer expired June 21st but it still works, so if you want a burning studio for free, go get it!
