    It's possible that it's clocking down to the low power state and it indirectly makes the cpu usage seem higher. Not sure on how to turn it off in bios but my 2600k chip will lower it's multiplier down to 16x from 40x when there is little cpu usage.

    Question for those who have used XFX's warranty

    Yeah I think it was exactly 3 weeks for me too. I did mine a couple months ago and got a 1gb 6950 as replacement. Can't complain it runs cooler and is a little faster/newer. So a win for me.
