    Samsung 226BW 22": 3000:1 Contrast, 2ms response time

Just do the RMA through Newegg's website. Don't say anything about A or S panels, and tell them exactly why you are unsatisfied with your monitor. That's what I did. I just described the problem I was having with my A panel(horribly blotchy colors in both photographs and when watching DVDs)...

    Samsung 226BW 22": 3000:1 Contrast, 2ms response time

Well, I got my replacement 226BW today, and it is an 'S' panel! :D The blotchiness of color that I was seeing on my 'A' panel is all gone. I am viewing the same photographs and DVDs that I did on the 'A', at the exact same contrast/brightness settings. Also, I didn't have a problem with...

Well, Newegg authorized the RMA so it should be fine. I think their no return policy is only for 24"+. And I'm from Oklahoma. My monitor was shipped from Tennessee.

:( I used my 'A' panel that I received Thursday from Newegg this weekend to see if I could live with it. I can't. I'm going to exchange it and keep my fingers crossed since people are still getting 'S' panels from Newegg. It makes me feel hopeful to know you got an 'S' panel after me, but...

    Samsung 226BW 22": 3000:1 Contrast, 2ms response time

I received mine from Newegg yesterday, and it is an 'A' panel. I have never seen an 'S' panel to compare it to, but I am disappointed in this monitor. The best way to describe my problem is "blotchiness" of color in real life photos especially, but also in DVDs. I tried watching Casino...
