You can get them cheaply off ebay pulled from new IBM servers, usually below $100.

Create a storagepool with the 4 drives and it shows as 1 big drive.
If you want some dataprotection, use 3 drives as data, and 1 drive as parity.

Im using it on my WHS2011 virtualized thru ESXi 5.0 and it has come quite a long way since the first beta build of 2.0.
The storagepool was unstable but it was fixed in beta 7 thats available currently.
