Hello
I've got a 975X PowerUp Edition and bought an Freezer 7 Pro as CPU cooler. This one and the original Intel cooler have an 4pin connection. I now wan't to buy an Scythe Infinity cooler and he has only a 3pin connection. How can I controller the cooler?

My computer runs now at:
CPU 2,71Ghz
FSB: 271 (I use Multiplier 10 because I get a better speed for the RAM)
VCore: 1,46V
I stopped at that point because at the moment I only use a Freezer 64Pro and the CPU becomes 53°C hot. I'M now looking for a better cooller, maybe the the Synthe...

I think the K8N Neo4 is much better. The performance without overclocking is about 3% better. MSI uses an active cooling for the mainboard so overheating is no problem. Also the support is much better, there's a new bios out and i't won't be the last if you find bugs or things anoying...
Kann anyone try this:
Use the SuperStep Utility and set something about 230Mhz, then apply and close SuperStep. The check with CPU-Z if it is set correctly.
If yes, reboot your PC (NOT SWITCH IT OFF, REBOOT!).
What says CPU-Z now?
That's the point. The board could run faster then 229Mhz. I tried with my CPU 260 Mhz and it run stable (when setting a higher VCore).
Does anybody know a software which can set the FSB during the Windows boot?
BTW: We should all mail to support everyday. Sometimes they'll give us the...
250 would be enough for me, so no way for cheating a bit?
EDIT:
With the SuperUtitly from Foxconn the Board runs great with up to 250Mhz (more would kill my CPU). Why can't Foxconn just say, here you've got the better Bios.
