I had a service call today to install a PS5 from a previous PC customer. I got it hooked up with improvements like LAN instead of wifi. Then transferred data from his PS4 to the new PS5. This guy is 81 years old and games everyday. He has had...

I tested it out, it does post with my CPU and RAM, so looks good. Updated the BIOS for them, too. I'll ship it out to them whenever they get their finances together. 50% off is a pretty nice savings lol, this feels like a pretty good mobo...

Secure, cheap and ugly - is how i do it with non-conductive scraps filling the box until nothing moves around anymore. But i always put the hardware in an anti-static bag before. Even the ones suitable for a motherbard are cheap on amzn. Then i...

I use pirate ship to figure out shipping....sometimes a regular box is cheaper than a flat rate box. I've seen where cardboard packed over the cpu socket has been used when there isn't the guard. Maybe you could go back/call and ask microcenter...

"out of video memory" error - that issue i had to fix 6 times now. And 6 out of 6 times the card or the pcie extension cable haven´t probperly been seated in the pcie slot. So forgive me if i have troubles believing that a Korean youngling with...

This whole idea is missing a ton of perspective, I think. To some, high end PC gaming desktop hardware is a hobby, nothing more. Spending $1000-$2000 on a new "thing" for your hobby every few years isn't that unheard of if it makes you happy...

I don´t get you. You are the prime candidate for the business version of that phone. No real bloat and far less, battery draining, tracking.

I've tried 2 or 3 times to start Fallout, even completed several of the main and side quests......but after climbing and then descending my 10th or 15th mountain just to literally get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time, I realized a sad...

Some of Nvidias 3000 gen have issues with running hdmi 2.1 at its fullest. So maybe you want to test this with a compatible monitor (4k/120hz/4.4.4/10bit/VRR/HDR). Not worth it at all if you skimp on a certified hdmi 2.1 cable.

You are way beyond using air as a medium to transport heat mate. I´m talking about an AC unit outside with insulated pipes connecting the parts inside. How far beyond is the first question to answer and how to express the value. You simply...

elvn Have to ask, since you are obviously interested in 8K, have you ever actually owned one? At least I have bought, owned and returned a few but it seems like few actually have (for good reasons) :) At least in the EU we have no restocking fees...

Diversification. Just like an investment portfolio where not every investment is equally profitable, diversification is important. If you put everything into the single most profitable item, what happens if/when that dries up? Abandoning gamers...

Isn´t any 5090 sold to gamers a loss since it could have been sold as the lowest tier of business gpu for ten times more? I would rather call suggest that the 5090 will be a halo product with the hashest price tag imaginable. 2,499.00 from...

So an external 12v powerbrick with an added on/off button and maybe quick connect? That´s 100% or 0%, which is suboptimal for fans, no? So please add a noctua NA-FC1 to your list https://noctua.at/en/na-fc1...

I finished the laptop stand and the exhaust fan mounts for the Framework 16. My design aesthetics aren't for everyone but it works for me. Here's the rather utilitarian laptop stand front view side view Here's the left/right fans in their...

The heat loads of modern processors are several times higher than the old T-Birds and such that were most popular at the height of phase change popularity. I came to it late, Q6600 era, and single stage units already couldn't keep up unless very...

This is my peltier/tec covid-rig, born out of part curiosity and boredom ;) Have a closer look at the powerbrick! 120w peltier/tec 3080ti benchmark cheater killer with the tec removed for daily use since it is an insulator if not active...
