Hehe, my set up isn't very fancy or whatnot, but it's the best an unemployed 15 year old deaf guy can do. ;) But I also would like to mention that with my christmas money I have ordered some components for a new PC. I got the Thermaltake Armor case, and I am going to move my HD, PSU, and CPU...

    Overclocking?

Hello guys. I was wondering, how exactly do you overclock a CPU properly? I have had a pentium D for about a year now, it is a Pentium D 805 2.66 ghz, 533 mhz FSB. I have had this one motherboard, ASUS P5VDC-MX and I never had a good chance to overclock it because the motherboard's BIOS...

    Overclocking a Pentium D

thanks for the advice. and i just came to a blue screen every time i try to play a game on the 2.90 GHz setting, which doesnt make much sense aside from the possibility that it might be getting too hot? I might turn it down later but what should i do to avoid that blue screen?

    Overclocking a Pentium D

I bought a pentium D (s775) with a stock speed of 2.66 GHz. I don't know that much about overclocking processors, but I overclocked it to 2.90 GHz though. I was just wondering, how much can a Pentium D take without having to switch to liquid cooling for further speeds? I'm kind of at an...
