Okay we have progress. I just flashed it with a Gigabyte BIOS and I get video on boot, however Windows refuses to recognise it as anything but a Standard VGA Controller. So at least now I know that the card isn't completely bricked. It should be resurrected with the right BIOS!
If you download GPU-Z from TPU (http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/) and next to the BIOS information section there's a picture of a chip with a green arrow on it. Click the icon then hit "Save BIOS to file".
