    Network Bandwidth Tracker????

Sorry to bring back a dead thread, but I had this situation happen recently. I have dd-wrt installed. I setup rflow on my pc and the router, and have been logging a roommates usage ever since. It's quiet, and doesn't increase network traffic. I showed him just how much he was destroying my...

Cups is a good replacement for an MS print server, just be careful that you have the ppd files for your printer otherwise some things may not work properly

    680i or 780i

I've had the evga 780i board for a few days now and I haven't had any problems. One thing to check is the whole heat pipe assembly though. I was in the bios hardware monitor and I noticed the temp was really high on the NB so I pushed it down a little, heard a click and the temperatures...

fax to pdf, instead of wasting paper/toner

Something that would do this would be a nice multi-function printer/copier. (shameless plug for my company). First off, awesome paint job. looks good. (I've got a tsunami, and I want to paint it black inside. just too damned busy) Second, you mention that the water gets backed up, and there's air gaps. I had this problem when I set my system up. Are you sure all of the inlet/outlets are the same size...

I need some help with a Fiery RIP LCD

After a conversation with our National Tech. support: As it turns out, this fiery uses and embedded version of either linux or windows (can't remember. and no, it's not XP embedded). There is a driver for it, but it can't be taken from the drive image, and it's proprietary. EFI would never...

I need some help with a Fiery RIP LCD

I can ask for some info on how the pci card interfaces tomorrow if you can wait. Also, I gotta ask: Can you get me the print controller model? It helps a lot. (looks like it might be an XJ). I thought about putting my computer in a case like that. Then I realized how much I hate fixing...
