    I have another question, iv heared people say high voltage for DDR3 can hurt the Phenom's. Like 1.7v or something like that. If that hurts the phenom then wouldnt using DDR2 which usually always goes to 2.0 and 2.1v hurt them ? How does this work exactly

    Seems the 940 and X3 are pretty even for the most part stock vs stock against a E8400 altho the E8400 is slightly faster. So i guess overclocked my cpu is probably better then both. Yea i dont want him to have a better computer lol, im the one paying for all this

    Yea it is and the sad thing is a $280 920 can get you to 3.33ghz or 4ghz if you overclock it and i doubt the $1k cpu would overclock much higher even if its does 100-200mhz is not worth $600 more. BMFX how high have you gotten your 975 extreme i assume thats what you have ?
