I should add, within the past four days I installed a new Brothers printer. I did not install any discs the printer came with, rather let Windows 7 download the drivers automatically. That is the only change I have made to my computer. I know for a fact I never experienced this error prior to...
Greetings. Since a few days ago, I am receiving the following error when I open Adobe Illustrator CS4. This message does not appear on any other programs (at least that I have seen yet, and I've run many).
Error header reads: illustrator.exe - no disk
Errror detail reads: "There is no...
DarrisBard, sorry I didn't get back to you last night. I had no problems whatsoever finding the f_usb header and plugging it into the f_usb port on the motherboard - and with that problem solved! Thanks for taking the time to looking at the pic and seeing that obvious omission. :)
Thank you! I will open up the cpu tonight and see if I can find the plug from the f_usb headers and plug it into one of those three yellow ports. I'll double-check with the mobo manual to make sure I'm not plugging it into the wrong port, too.
I'll report back tonight with the verdict. Thank...
I apologize if this isn't the right place, but I just discovered a problem with this build. My front two USB connectors aren't working at all. When I plug a USB device into either one of them, nothing happens - they aren't powering on any jump drive and Windows doesn't recognize them. The back...
I tried to move it but the chords aren't allowing me to put it around easily - and I don't want to unplug and detangle them just for that. It's easy to move the supply - just unscrews from the back. And if it were anything major I could cut the chord ties - but they are too tight for it to sit...
I'm going to see if I can flip it easily, but if not I won't worry about it. :) Thanks for letting me know regardless! I was going to order from MainGear initially, but glad I went through this experience. Well worth it.
Oops! Is it worth me trying to move it? He actually hooked up the power supply to it, so I don't know how hard it'd be for me to move it. If it creates better performance, safety, heat loss, or anything like that I will immediately change it no matter how hard it'll be for me.
Your thoughts...
Pictures tell a thousand words, indeed! I am very happy with this build - it frankly flies and is as fast as I really ever need a cpu. I went with AMD to save some money, and I've been a long fan of their processors.
I don't mind the wires how they are to be honest - the excess is pushed into...
I've only posted here twice - but have read so much from this forum I wanted to write about my experience of building my first computer. Thanks to so many generous people here, I was able to search and find all questions I had.
The build itself went well - I had a friend who was experienced in...
Thank you for this; I was using the HSF from the board and the case fan.
Could you perhaps give me recommendations on a good mobo that will work with this setup? Motherboards are the one main area my mind gets lost in and what I have struggled picking out.
Thank you for your other two...
No problem - didn't know if it was necessary since I wasn't asking the typical "should I build or not" question. :)
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Adobe CS4 use.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Prefer to keep the...
Greetings! I've been lurking here for a while, and finally got the gusto to register and post. I've been toying with the idea of building my own cpu or buying from Maingear for a few weeks, and have finally decided to pull the trigger and build my own. I've never built my own so I'm a bit...
