    Why does my system turn on for 1 second, turn off, then boot normal?

    I had the same exact problem until I reseated all components in the system. Right after that, boots fully with no dip-out/shutoff. Reseat ALL power cables, videocard, RAM, any other PCI cards.

    So I flashed the new BIOS for the 1gig Sonic Platinum Ed. Results: the fan stays at 40% until the GPU is 70*C, then it slow starts to go up. Before the fan would be at 60-70% at about 65*. This DOES allow the card to get hotter, but makes lower sound.
