I was considering this monitor as a replacement for the Samsung PX2370. Budget is $400 max and wanted something bigger but keep the quality high. Gaming use 99%.
Payed for 3 months, only played for the free month it comes with. I just can't bring myself to log-in anymore. It's not really "bad", just same old stuff I played 7 years ago.
I had the same exact problem until I reseated all components in the system. Right after that, boots fully with no dip-out/shutoff. Reseat ALL power cables, videocard, RAM, any other PCI cards.
Well, I'm thinking of returning the Samsung PX2370. For Games/General use it's amazing, BUT for movies it fails hard. I get severe tearing when watching mkv movies. I tried several players, different settings, and it still happens. I turned the response time to Normal/Faster and no change.

I just got the Samsung PX2370 and it's absolutely amazing! I've been playing Black Ops all day and I can see enemies far away and everything is sharper and more detailed. It's BRIGHT! I tried a couple movies and they look great too. It's $300 at Best Buy or less than that online.

So I flashed the new BIOS for the 1gig Sonic Platinum Ed.
Results: the fan stays at 40% until the GPU is 70*C, then it slow starts to go up. Before the fan would be at 60-70% at about 65*. This DOES allow the card to get hotter, but makes lower sound.
