Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Impedance: 4 ohms
They are not easy to drive. I don't know if there is any 4ohms receivers for under $200. Maybe look into ebays or craigslist for a used one.
At the end of the day, you are paying $330-$400 for a 27" ips 2560x1440 monitor. Complainer should be shot :P These panels are not perfect. But for the money, they are the best monitor you can buy.
I received my Crossover monitor yesterday from Dcsamsungmall. I did a dead pixel test and can't find even one :) The stand is very stable and move left, right, up, down and tilt. The case is not aluminum, it's steel. I have light bleed on the lower corner like most ips panel. The only thing...
Anyone can tell the difference if you have decent speakers. I cant listen to 128k mp3, they sound like cassette tape recording. My Sierra1 will cry if i feed it 128k mp3.;)
Receiver wont make much of a different. The Onkyo or Marantz are both good. There are many better speakers than those Polk, but for the price they are very hard to beat. If that's your budget then get the polk, they will sound fine. Dont get the Polk subwoofer thou, there are better choices...
They look great! Can you do me a favor? With the sub off, instead of sitting next to them...move back 5-6 feet. Is the bass much better? Just want to know if it's my room because i couldn't get any bass out of the Sierra1 sitting close like that. Thanks
There's really no more options in pc sound system. The trend is bookshelf 2.0/2.1 or full HT if you need 5.1. Which is a good thing as pc sound (even the BEST pc sound system) is crappy compare to any decent bookshelf/sub combo.
