Put very simply, if your screen is 60hz it refreshes 60 times a second. If your card produces more than 60 frames per second you will see tearing.
Everyone that has enough power to push 60+ fps uses vsync.
Also TV and film are only around 25 fps so your not missing anything not been able to...
Everything was seated while dusting, and i unseated/reseated everything after and ran it with just the bare bones just to see if there was any other conflict. Followed your steps but still nothing!
Took it back to the vendor and they tested it and had the same problem and replaced the board...
Right so i'll get them tested asap, if they're ok then it's definitely a dead motherboard ?
(I've had it out the of case and tried running it with just cpu/cooler/ram/power just to make sure there was nothing else causing a short or something weird and still the same, post stuck at 50.)
Not yet, i don't have any other ram to try.
Could both sticks of ram go bad just like that ?
