Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Some research shows that MSI may just call it somply "Vdroop offset" *which I am seeing a lot of. Does 100% seem reasonable, I cannot find how it is handled under MSI.
MDA thanks for the helpful response. I am using the Z87 variant of the MSI Mpower Max (AC Edition). Honestly I am unsure of where to find that on this board as MSI seems to call everything different from the rest of the world as what's uncore everywhere else is the ring on this board and then...
In reply to you both, I am trying to get a stable 42x multiplier right now. I am pushing 1.2+ volts and it still is unstable. I have tried also lowering the ring bus to 35x. Also I have noticed my Vdroop varies anywhere from 0.2-3v, which I find rather disconcerting.
Now for 42x I started with...
Hey,
*Edit: So as to not get retarded answers...
I have run this CPU in steps as far as voltage is concerned to reach 4.2 which is the only bootable OC past 40x. I have tried reaching 43x with all of the following settings.
The following settings both on and off for each level.
EIST, Speed...
Thanks very much for the reply Atrance5!
The cooler has honestly never done very well. Even if I literally set the blower to 100% I can maybe get to 75c from 80c in something like GTA V. It acts as more of an exhaust/blower forcing air out of the case.
Liquid_static, in order for some units to be recognized you will need to peform a Regedit hack. Just look up H100i regedit. This is a long running issue with Windows 8.1. I just disabled my Regedit in order to see if it is resolved with the H100i GTX edition.
Uh huh... I feel like you have never used either, or just don't actually know anything about quality. Corsair and Asus are two of the top leading brands in the computer industry. In performance and quality.
Most of the people whining here are AMD guys. AMD has basically walked away for years now. They have done nothing real to show that they still care about the desktop gaming industry. There is no leaps and gains like we had in the Intel vs AMD days and ATI vs Nvidia.
The industry has become...
Hey there,
Thanks for visiting my profile. I am currently in the beginning stages of diagnosing leg injuries. I have been a firefighter for around 3 years (Since 18). I was a Wildland Firefighter for the US Forest Service. Due to injuries within my legs I was forced to resign my position until...
Hey All,
I am a bit new to the forum. I am sorry if this is a repeat thread.
I have an EVGA 3GB Reference 780 (Titan Cooler). I am noticing however after a year that the temps are not where I would like (I couldn't OC if I wanted to). At max load playing a game like GTA V or Witcher 3 I...
Yes there are most definitely lights that strong. In fact there are lights with Lumens that outshine the sun. You can make a carbon arc lamp (Same theory used in welding and super furnaces). Using an electrically charged tube made of Carbon.
Honestly Limp, this makes no sense. I have a Kindle that I Love to use. I have even taken it while fighting wildfires because it lasts for literally a month or more with heavy use and is back-lit. I was able to use mine without even setting up WI-Fi until I had an Amazon account.
I use Calibre...
