Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The only catalyst driver I'm using is the "Southbridge" driver (found here). The display driver for my integrated graphics is uninstalled, since I figured I wouldn't be needing it, and I have it set to PCIEx graphics in the bios.
The only thing that worries me about the motherboard is the...
Yeah, the NeoHE was supposedly made by Seasonic, while the other Antecs are usually ChannelWell units. I'm aware of the motherboard issue that the NeoHE's have been having, but mine's a later revision. It seems like an RMA is in my future.
You have any good utilities for checking rail...
Greetings,
I've just installed an XFX 8800 GTS 320MB (XXX edition) into my machine, and I've been having random black outs (screen goes black, computer stays on) when I'm playing games, or playing DVD's. I'm using driver version 158.24 which are WHQL or whatever.
It smells like a PSU issue...
Sorry for thread crapping, but not that hot. This is about the going rate for these cards. Especially considering the prices of the 8800 GTS 640.
Chief Value = 273
Newegg = 276
Newegg = 276 for the PNY Version
ZZF = 285 for the super clocked version

This is easily the cheapest DDR2 memory I've seen. While it doesn't have the best reviews, 33$ a gig for a value kit is pretty obscene compared to prices 6 months ago. Probably won't be long til we see FAR sticks :D
A note about that board, it has no PCI-E lock. This means you'll have to raise your PCI-E frequency along with the FSB. At 120+ MHz PCI-E frequency most systems become unstable, and you run the risk of frying your graphics card, screwin' up the LAN, ect. The majority opinion seems to be that...
I'm in a similar boat as you, building a budget SFF system. So far I've got most of the components purchased, I'm just waiting on the motherboard review from Anandtech to come out before I finish up my build. But on to your delima :P.
If you're going to overclock your CPU, the FI90-HD is the...
I don't know if anyone answered your question about those two sticks, so lemme give it a shot.
If I recall correctly, the RAM in the first link (black heat spreaders) are Micron D9's, while the RAM in the second link are ProMOS. If you're going to run the RAM at stock speeds, it means very...
