what black bars? I use 1080p and have never seen these.

I don't know how anyone couldn't be happy with this monitor. Even the fact that it's a TN panel doesn't bother me. I watch movies on this monitor from across the room and a couple feet below. Viewing angles don't bother me in the least!

I can confirm that I am able to get HDMI sound with my ps3.

I had a top of the line 21" CRT and there's no way I could go back to it. Gaming at 1920x1200 is just way too nice to give up.

Yes. The input lag on this monitor is amazing and I play tons of fps' games and a couple at high level. The pixel mapping is very good on this monitor and like I've already stated, I use this monitor for EVERYTHING and it performs better then I expected.

For anyone that is considering this monitor, GET IT. I have it and use it for pc gaming and ps3/blu ray usage. It always looks amazing. The black levels are really damn good and I couldn't be any happier with this monitor. However, I would probably not be saying this if I had received a unit...

The BenQ G2400W is an amazing monitor. I came from a $600 21" crt that was meant for graphics work. I used to run cs:source at 120hz refresh rate. I do not have any complaints about using this monitor and I mainly play fps. I guaruntee you will be satisified as I am one of the most picky...

Buy the Benq G2400W man. You will not regret it.

I love my BenQ G2400W. No complains at all. It's way better then my previous Dell E228WFP.

I just bought one a couple days ago. Amazing monitor. You will be very happy with this purchase!
