I got my 460 to 910mhz under the stock voltage caps. Any higher and I would get artifacts. Really I think stock comparisons are worthless, overclocked comparisons are far more important. Too bad OC'd comparison are hard to find.

Hm, that doesn't look nearly blurry enough to be considered bokeh. Bokeh would mean you can't make out any details, it should increase your fps like mad if it really was giving you a bokeh effect.

Ah I see, I've been out of the loop on this crap for a couple years. I was still running on the old train of thought that it's almost all GPU dependent, but that 360/ps3 thing makes sense. I was wondering about finding a quad on the cheap, thanks for the advice :D.

@needmorecarnitine I have about the same setup as OP, but my e6600 is OC'd to 3.5ghz, do you think I will have problems with those 20 or so games?
