It happens when you install an expansion that tries to install a previous patch. Even if you cancel out, you'll still end up getting that error. Just let the expansion install, then reinstall the full patch (1.4 now) to fix it. No problem.

I bought it and can't even play it. It goes to start up then crashes right back to the desktop. I read somewhere that it's a sound issue, but I have onboard sound so I can't get the drivers it demands. I still wish I hadn't fried my Audigy 2.
