Yes, I swapped my old RAM with the new RAM and it works fine. I will have to check Dual Channel in the BIOS (I'm pretty sure it's set though). I'll try the one at a time method and see if that works, too.
I currently have 4GB in my PC (2x2GB DDR2) and have 2 more DDR2 slots that I can use. So, I purchased the exact same ram, and installed them. When I rebooted, my PC runs a lot slower, and when I get into Vista I notice that all 4 cores on my CPU are going nuts. I checked the BIOS but I don't see...
What's the difference between the HD4890 and the GTX260, besides GDDR3 & GDDR5 (and obvious 1GB vs 896MB)? I've heard that the ATI cards are a lot better than NVidia now, is that true for this matchup?
Thanks!
Looking for something < $200 I'm thinking. I game at 1680 x 1050. I've been reading around, and I think my motherboard is actually pci-e 1.1, so it could handle a 2.0 graphics card. But, I think it won't run at the 2.0 speeds?
My 8800GTX has been awesome for the past 2.5 years I've owned it, but recently it's been causing issues. I was playing L4D2 and the game froze, with green "w" like lines all over the screen. I rebooted, tried again, same thing. Updated the drivers, checked the temperature of the card (which...
If I'm understanding you correctly, the first problem is you want a border around the table and around each cell. You need a general td in there to apply the border to all cells.
Also, the padding needs to be on the td as well.

Who didn't know this was happening? Welcome to what the movie industry experiences all the time. If you make quality products, people will want it; if you make poor quality products, people will stay away from it (can we start labeling certain games as "B Games" a la "B Movies"?).
The...
I'm probably in the minority here, but I for one dislike file sharing software. My argument isn't a "you're stealing" one, it's more of a "you're hogging a ton of shared bandwidth." When I was in college, so many people had Kazaa/Limewire running that just trying to get to a website took...
I have a page being build using raw XML data and XSL. In the XSL I have a form that is posting to "index.asp", with info for the selection that was chosen via a button. All this is working correctly: the grid displays with the correct information, and it does post to the index.asp page. However...
I'm using a remote server for hosting images to a website, and was looking into caching on the website's server to minimize transactions between the two. I did find something interesting, in that it seems that .Net is automatically caching images on the site server.
I tested this out by...
So, I got everything hooked up and booted it up! I'm now running memtest on it (it's been going for a half hour and hasn't even completed one pass yet, 4GB is large). I was so happy it booted, that was the first step. Now I just hope everything holds up.
The only issue I have really right now...
