    Thanks for your advise JDAdams. My best guess is also that the card was DOA. One last thing, I travelled with the card and had to pass an X-Ray airport security. Can the card be affected by this at all?

    Gents, Here is my story; I bought a Sapphire x1950pro to replace my HIS 9800pro. The reason is that I broke one of the resistors of the card, while replacing a psu that had blown the day before. I did manage to solder the resistor on my 9800 again, and it is now hanging from two copper...
