I have an S2 that was doing the same thing. I took it to the store and had them look at it. Turns out I had a runaway app that was just chewing through battery life. Had them do a hard reset which you can look up online and now my battery life is excellent. I have thoroughly enjoyed my S2...

I used to run a Gamestop in Texas. We were top 3 in the district in reservations and subscriptions. To be honest we really did not try that hard. Most of our reservations came off of trade ins or regular customers. I had several gamers that would come in on a regular basis just to B.S about what...

At my job in the Houston area I just termed an employee for making a video and posting it in a video online. The video was her giving another employee a hard time over the phone. (High school BS). We did not fire her for her language but for the fact that she signed a social media policy and she...

As someone who worked for Gamestop in the San Antonio area for 5 years and had a friend who was killed in her backroom the above post is very offensive. It is very wrong to laugh. Seriously, imagine if that was someone you cared about. Just because you do not like shopping at Gamestop does not...

This.

This is one reason. Some people have shrink wrap machines at home and are pretty good at it. I have gotten people trying to trade in blank cdrs inside sealed cases.

Also, to answer your question Steve. When I left the company in 2007 it was a company policy to not accept trades on unopened games. Some stores did it anyway to have the newest titles used cause it allowed us to offer upsells on discount cards and what not.

A few facts are missing from the story. Such as how soon after Mafia 2 was released was he trying to return/trade it in. I say this cause newer games have a tendancy to be the ones stolen the most due to the higher trade value. As a former store manager I have had to handle this situation a...

I agree with 450. Try to use the tv as monitor to make sure it is what you want. I rarely use mine for a monitor. Just when I want to blow something up to show a group of people. Otherwise its my 24" Dell. Also, don't forget Cyber Monday is in 2 days.

I just purchased a 32" Samsung from Sears on Black Friday for $329. It had both VGA and 2 HDMI inputs on the back. It is only 720p though. I am using it for the same things you are. I bet if you look around you can find the same tv for a little cheaper elsewhere. Also, Walmart put the same...

Thank you for the help.

I am a new member here but, have been an avid reader for about 10 years. Unfortunately, I do not have enough post to sell stuff in the FS/FT thread. I was wondering if I could post a lot of stuff that I am just looking to get rid of in there without the ban hammer smacking me in the face? All I...

I will have to give that a try. Hopefully they will replace it.

I recently broke my Logitech G7 and I am looking to get another one. After looking online they are looking rather pricey. Anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on one for a decent price from a reputable seller? Would be willing to buy one used for the right price.

So you mean to tell me that the alumni of pretty much any school that has a popular athletic program does not donate to their schools. Thousands of people donate money to their alma mater. How many people on these forums went to community college and got degrees in IT and computer science...
