Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
So, 120hz doesn't look better than the 60hz mode and what doesn't make sense is the clarity is pretty much the same along the whole PW range in 120hz mode or its very subtle, like its only effecting brightness, maybe broken or stuck tuned like the same as Pulsars 25% duty cycle.
The clarity at...
I can have a look tomorrow and let you know, off memory nothing looks better than 60hz PW 10 clarity wise but its really dim.
I rolled back to the previous firmware as there's a ghosting bug between 90-180fps in Pulsar mode, ill update and let you know but I need some sleep first.
I’m a CRT fan with a Pulsar display, the Pulsar still has trade offs next to my OLED. I am now sacrificing Contrast in deep blacks and highlights for real HDR. IPS off angle is bad too, also that glowy vignette effect.
But motion clarity is king for me, when I go back to my OLED I’m struggling...
Yeah, the TFTCentral Pulsar article mentioned it took Nvidia longer than expectesd moving to the new Mediatek chips, thats why all these monitors got pushed back a year I assume.
Yeah the clarity alone can be better than Pulsar when lowering the pulse width, but you’re sacrificing VRR, adding noticeable flicker and lowering Brightness.
Pulsar mode loses abit of clarity (still very good) for a stable high brightness with gsync and no flicker.
I can’t see OLED Pulsar...
Yeah its crazy how good it looks, I think its actually better clarity than CRT at that 10 Pulse Width setting. However, its only around 54nits brightness.
I can't see the technology coming to OLED anytime soon unfortunately. The Pulsar screens backlight is over 2000nits I believe, with light scanning down 25% of the screen per frame. So we then perceive the roughly 500nits brightness of the display.
I think the latest Tandem OLEDs only can do...
VRR does work in 1080p mode, I was using it in Horizon, you can also turn on a setting within the monitor to show the actual frame rate at the top left of the screen.
Everything work’s fine so far apart from VRR in 1440p mode, maybe they can add it later?
I checked out Gran Turismo 7 in 1440p...
Sony have added 1440p support to the PS5 in a beta firmware, hopefully HDR, VRR all
work fine too as it currently does on 1080p mode.
Will test later when I’m home.

Edit: looks like VRR...
