    Best i7-2600k Cooling Solution for modest OC?

    If you have room in your case, and can swing the money, the Noctua D-14 is the greatest thing since sliced bread. My opinion of course. :) I've got my 2600k clocked at 4.4Ghz and it's idling at 29C. 100% load using Intel Burn Test, maximum, 8 threads it runs at 60C.

    video card upgrade for Rifts and other 2011 games?

    I'm in Beta also. While you won't run Rift on Ultra, your 8800GT will run Rift fine on lower settings. I was using a 9800 GTX+ for the first 4 betas.

    2600K stock cooler overclocks - temps and results?

    Stock 2600k at idle = 29C. Using a Noctua D14. 100% load at 4.2Ghz doing 54C. Anything above 4.2 and Windows won't start. Updating the bios today and hoping it helps.

    Worried about fitting a Nocuta DH-47 to a P67 motherboard.

    Noctua DH-14 that is. Looks to me like the fan will cover up the first to dimm slots. Does anyone have a Noctua mounted on P67 mainboard? If so, how does it fit? Any pics?

    Anyone else sat out the i-cores?

    Still using my E8500 at 3.96ghz. I've been buying my parts and had plans of building an i7-950 but am now twisting in the wind wondering if I should go with Sandy Bridge or not. I'll use it mostly for gaming, Everquest 2 and Rift. Not sure at this point if SB will be better or not.
