    I tried connecting the card to an Ultra X Connect 500 Watt power supply, I believe its a single rail with 34 amps on the rail. Same problem "power cable not connected to card" message at boot up.

    There was nothing else plugged into the same cord. I just tried getting the card to work on a different power supply and I got he same problem again too. Im gonna try it on a different system tonight. If anyone else has suggestions please let me know. Thanks

    Sorry I forgot to mention that I also connected the molex Y extension power cable that was supplied with the card and the same problem occurs.

    Help! I just installed a X850XT PE into my rig and plugged in my PSU's 4 pin molex connector to the card. What happens is during boot up I get a message with constant beeping that says the power supply connector is not attached to the card and freezes at that screen. It wont boot to my desktop...

    Ok thanks I'll do that. But so far no power issues have occured, system boots up fine and gaming with no problems, knock on wood.

    Oh no! I just bought an Enermax Liberty for my Socket A ASUS AN87XE-Deluxe. Its a dual rail, I didn't know about the crossloading with dual on socket A. It seems stable so far, do you forsee any problems for me?
