Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know.. Unfortunately noise is not an option for me so I will have to go for a non TI model, like the 1080. Or maybe what Dan suggested? Like I said I'm not sure how a custom card would perform in such a tiny case..
That EVGA look bad@ss though))
Thanks Dan, very helpful!
Just out of curiosity.. But wouldn't be better to have an FE card that blows hot air out of the case instead of the EVGA (or any non ref design for that matter) that actually blows hot air INSIDE the case? I'm I missing something here?
Excited to get the case next year)))
Just bought a few months ago the Ncase but I decided to give the Dan a chance and pledged for the V2's Kickstarter campaign. Just a few questions left:
- Should the rad's fan be set as intake or exhaust?
- Is the 1080TI completely out of the question for this case? I think I was reading about...
Ahahah yes! I've been entertaining that idea:) I've got an Ncase sitting here next too me waiting))) I need also to factor power consumption and heat. A 250W GPU in my chassis might be a bit too much, that's why I was leaning toward the 1080..
Ok so this it's a little bit more reassuring:)
It's a good point, but the reason why I'm worried is that the 1080GTX was realeased almost a year ago. I don't honestly care if we have a much better GPU coming next year.. but I'm definitely hesitant to buy a product that will be outdated in a...
The biggest question for me is.. Buy a 1080GTX now or wait Vega annoucment at computex. Not that I want to buy an AMD GPU, but I have the feeling Nvidia it's hard at work to counter AMD next gen GPU. In my opinion AMD teaser "Poor Volta(ge)" it's a clear indication that they are going after...
Thanks, I have a much clearer picture now! I won't bother with the 92mm fan as you suggested. I also decided I will not go for the regular corsair. I will try to do some more research on the ML series, Yate Loom and EK Fans and see what I find out:)
Hey Darksable,
thanks again for sharing your knowledge. I was considering to mount a 92mm to help exhaust some hot air from the case. I get a lot people are NOT recommending a 92mm in the NCase but it's still better than no hot air being pushed out of the case.. I'm i wrong?
To recap the...
Wow.. I didn't know the corsair have such an high failure rate!
Actually I do mind about noise as my goal is to have a powerful- yet quiet gaming PC to sit next to my 4K TV.
So I guess the industrial fans are not an option((( Can i underwolt them or something?
As for redux fans, are you...
Thank you Clean and Darksable for the advice on the fan. I realize that I won't see them but they look really really bad.
So let's negotiate:) Opinions on Noctua's own Industrial or Redux fans?
Lastly why you think corsair are bad? There are quite a few good reviews out there..?
Thanks for...
