Intel’s Upcoming Gaming GPU! - Massive Performer

Pretty sure "snatch up a group" meant purchasing the technology group including the intellectual property rights, not just hiring the employees.

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

I had a little difficulty with my GTX 1060 as well. I fiddled with it for a couple minutes because the card wouldn't go into the riser connector. I never figured out what the problem was because eventually, it just slid right in. My assumption is that the tolerances on the connector are tight...

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

Sorry guys, been out of the country for a week. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to try this one: https://www.amazon.com/Low-Profile-Header-Extender-Cable/dp/B01N7DU5LC/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1520289401 I need only about 5 inches of extra cable length, and this one is 8...

Never seen before! World smallest ITX case with full size GPU 4.7L, ready to break record!

Several of your responses to critique refer to a newer design. Can you show that design? Seems like the best way to keep people interested is to show that it doesn't have the previously-mentioned flaws.

Never seen before! World smallest ITX case with full size GPU 4.7L, ready to break record!

I somewhat like the concept, but I see a couple of big issues if you're planning for this to be a consumer product 1. Every corner and edge is a hazard that will nick or scratch everything it touches. 2. Even if you use a thin male-to-female extension, the power cord will still be on the...

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

Thanks for all the hard work, Fire! It's was really cool to watch your project progress from start to finish and to actually be able to buy the final product. BTW, this case is for my 13-year-old son and he is really happy with it, too. He has two friends for which I have built very similar...

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

Dang, my Corsair SF450 was just delivered today. When I read this, I quickly ordered a ATX-SFX adapter bracket so I can install the PSU into the current case that has all of the other parts installed and test it out before the seller return-period expires on the PSU. FYI, Wal-Mart has the the...

LOL! Yeah, that off-white that got more and more "off" with age (well, actually UV light exposure).

Hades Canyon NUC - Kaby Lake with Vega GPU

I found a video of the Hades Canyon including the power supply. The PSU is huge, well, relatively. The NUC + PSU are going to be around 2L combined. See the PSU at around 1:45. The guy says it's about the same size as a Skull Canyon which he pulls out at 2:10.

Hades Canyon NUC - Kaby Lake with Vega GPU

Right. On my Skull Canyon, the external PSU brick is 0.27L, well over 1/3 the volume of the unit.

Hades Canyon NUC - Kaby Lake with Vega GPU

Thinking about replacing a system with i7-5775C in a Casetronic/Travla C287 (3.8L, Iris Pro graphics only) with a Hades Canyon NUC. I assume the 1.2L does not include the 230W power brick which I also assume is somewhat large.

Possible sff build to run a touchscreen check in system

Atom/Celeron/Pentium-based NUC or similar. E.g., NUC6CAYH, but there are several options available from various manufacturers. None are super cheap for what they are but they'll still easily fit in your budget.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure now it was the Pop-up blocker add-on for Chrome. No worries. Now the wait.
