DPI doesn't directly effect your accuracy but it does ensure that all subtle movements are picked up, even when the sensitivity is lowered to compensate.
So the more DPI you have the more response you get from the mouse, its not as simple as saying higher DPI = higher sensitivity.

I don't see two microphone inputs in recording, only 1. I have everything muted except the output of the card, and even when it is muted the hiss still comes through.
