    The curve, 1400+ nit and Quantum dot are huge selling points. I sit less than 5ft away from the display and about 5 degrees of center, so the curve would make a difference. The Samsung can be had for almost $250 less for the 49" model vs 49" X900e.

    Have you seen the black trailing or color smearing during panning shots. I still have 20 days to decide whether to keep the X900E. I am coming from the 43" X800d and 55" F9000, so both had extremely fast pixel response. The amount of smearing/trailing was negligible at best between these displays.

    I upgraded from the X800D to the X900E and couldn't agree more that a 43" would have been perfect. As for the performance difference between the two displays, the X900E improves on the X800D and in some cases the X930D of 2016.
