    I had the same kind of weirdness on my last board with a dvd rom. I ended up having to put the new drive on IDE1 and move my old burner from IDE1 to IDE2.

    Unfortunately it will be an OEM so there will be no goodies with either board. The chip was a retail one so it will have the heatsink and fan but thats it. Would you still get the neo board over the K8V? And another question about a s-ata drive. Is it really faster than the EIDE at least...
